Honor WIN Phones Get New Silent Call Feature and Better Screenshots

Honor is rolling out a new update, MagicOS 10.0.0.127, for its WIN series gaming phones. The outstanding feature is a smarter silent mode that lets important calls ring even when your phone is muted. It’s designed to help you stay fully focused, especially while gaming, without worrying about missing urgent calls.

The update also makes taking and editing screenshots easier and smarter. Overall, this is a useful update, especially for gamers who want fewer distractions but still need to stay connected.

First, the silent mode fix is explained. The Silent option is found by going to Settings > Sound & Haptics > Silent. The option “Leave Important Calls Unsilenced” should be turned on. Important contacts, such as a mother or a boss, can be selected. Their calls will be allowed to ring loudly even when the phone is kept on silent. This way, interruptions during games are avoided. This feature is already supported on other Honor phones like Magic 8 and Magic V5.

Screenshots have also become better. You can now take screenshots without removing your phone case. After that, you can add nice borders that match your phone’s style.

This makes your screenshots look clean, stylish, and more professional when you share them on social media or with friends.

These updates make WIN phones even better for gaming. Some features may vary slightly depending on the model, but these two improvements stand out the most. Honor is rolling out the update slowly in batches, so it may take some time before your phone receives it.

To check for the update, Settings > System & Updates > Software Update should be opened. Enough free storage (about 2–3 GB) should be available, and a stable Wi-Fi connection should be used so the download can be completed faster. Before updating, it is recommended to back up data by Honor as a safety step. So far, no major issues have been reported.

This update also brings small extras like better cameras, a photo gallery, and a lock screen on other phones. WIN users get a real treat.

Keep watching your update section. It’ll come soon!
