Console gaming is one of the best options for gamers. It comes with excellent durability, affordability, and consistency. Gamers love to play on PS5 and Xbox 360 because they offer a wide variety of games in their library and have excellent graphics. Although PS5 & Xbox were playing a monopoly in the console market, now they have a challenger ahead of them. As you can see, it comes with solid specs and I/O options. But there is a catch in the pricing. And here is what you must know.
Both Xbox and PS5 come around the $499.99 – $749.00 price point. These companies claim that they are offering these prices at a loss to the company and recover the loss through game purchases and subscriptions. But the steam machine is supposedly not going to use these tactics and is going to launch at a higher price than their competitors. These speculations started on the internet when a Czech retailer Smarty listed the Steam Machine at $950 for the 512GB model and $1,070 for the 1TB version, before taxes. Another X user from Czech found the price of the Steam Machine on Alza under “inspect items” in the hidden HTML code.
These prices are not official from Steam, so gamers must not lose hope yet and wait for the official announcement.
