Apple has launched a new monthly subscription for Apple Creator Studio, that bundles its professional creative software into one plan. The service is priced at $12.99 per month, or ₹399 in India. Although Apple first promoted a three-month free trial only for customers buying a new Mac or iPad, reports now suggest that many users with older devices are also seeing the same offer.

The three-month trial is appearing as a system message for some existing Mac and iPad owners, even without a new hardware purchase. This allows current users to try Apple’s full set of professional tools without upgrading. For those who do not receive the longer offer, Apple continues to provide a standard one-month free trial for all new subscribers.

The launch is tied to a new talent push from Apple. As reported by T2 Online, the company says it is searching for the “next Kyle Hanagami,” referring to the well-known dance creator whose viral videos are edited using Final Cut Pro. The campaign reflects Apple’s effort to encourage new creators in video, music, and digital media.

Apple Creator Studio includes Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, Motion, Compressor, Pixelmator Pro, and MainStage. Apple says the bundle also introduces new on-device AI features, such as beat detection in Final Cut Pro and smart creative tools in Pages and Keynote, designed to work directly on supported devices.

Users’ reaction in (X) Twitter to the Apple Creator Studio announcement has mainly been positive, with users focusing on practical improvements and value rather than marketing claims.

A user reacted with light humor to the redesigned app icons, saying they looked unusual at first, but added that the bundle gives them a chance to try Apple apps they had never used before.

Another user highlighted specific upgrades, such as Final Cut Pro on iPad now supporting fully resizable windows on external monitors, called it a long-awaited change that makes the app more useful for serious work.

One user also praised the student pricing, saying that Apple has made the bundle more affordable for learners and beginner creators.

To access the most advanced AI features, Apple says users need devices with at least 6GB of memory and an A16 chip or M-series processor. The subscription supports Family Sharing for up to six members.

With this launch, Apple is moving further away from one-time software purchases toward a single subscription model. By extending trials beyond new hardware buyers, the company appears to be trying to make its professional tools available to a wider group of creators.
