ANUPPUR, India (GizTimes) — Peni Parker a new playable character in MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls, has been announced by Arc System Works and Marvel Games. The reveal happened during the Arc World Tour 2025–2026 Finals. The game will release on August 6, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and PC.
Peni Parker fights using her SP//dr mech suit, which makes her different from other characters. She is a technical fighter and uses gadgets, traps, and projectiles to control fights. This means players will need to plan their moves instead of just attacking quickly. She is voiced by Risa Mei and has both English and Japanese voice lines.
The developers also introduced a new team called The Amazing Guardians. This team includes Spider-Man, Ms. Marvel, and Star-Lord. Spider-Man is voiced by Josh Keaton, Ms. Marvel by Dalia Rooni, and Star-Lord by Scott Porter. This is the second full team revealed after the Unbreakable X-Men, which includes Storm, Magik, Wolverine, and Danger.
The story of the game focuses on a character called The Promoter, voiced by Xirena Awhina. She is an Elder of the Universe who creates a large tournament. This tournament is the main part of the game’s Episode Mode.
The game includes some new systems. The Vital Gauge is a shared health bar for the whole team. There is also a move called Tōkon Assemble, where all team members attack together. Another feature creates automatic team names based on the characters you pick, with references to Marvel stories.
A demo of the game with Peni Parker and the Knowhere stage will be available at EVO Japan 2026 from May 1 to May 3, 2026. Peni brings the total confirmed roster to 12 characters, and the full launch roster will have 20.
