Resident Evil Requiem is a top game with amazing graphics and smooth gameplay on all new consoles. It shines brightest on PS5 Pro. There, it runs at 60 frames per second with sharp 4K-like pictures and cool ray-tracing effects. This is Capcom’s best use yet of their RE Engine. They started it nine years ago in Resident Evil 7. The game fixes old problems like bad black colors. It adds scary 3D sound too. It’s one of the best in the whole series. Fans love the story and scares.

You see the power right away. Rainy city streets look super real. Wet puddles shine. Lights glow bright. Tiny details pop everywhere. Characters feel alive. Their skin looks real. Clothes move right. Eyes catch light. Hair sways like real strands in the wind. This hair tech comes back from Resident Evil 4 remake. Now it runs fast without lag.

PS5 Pro is the winner. Sony planned it for smooth 60fps that matches the slow 30fps quality. Requiem does better. Ray-tracing mode locks at 60fps most times. A few small drops happen. Smart upscaling turns about 1080p into near-true 4K. It looks crisp and clear. Ray tracing adds shiny reflections on water and cars. Global light fills dark spots. You spot tiny noise sometimes. But the change is huge and worth it.

Hair works great here. Thin strands fit every scene. In 120Hz mode for fast TVs, it drops ray tracing. Upscaling gets basic too like old PC tech called FSR1. But frames stay high and smooth. Use VRR on your TV for no stutters. It’s like base PS5 at 60fps.

Base PS5 is close. Same sharpness, no ray tracing. Xbox Series X copies PS5 almost exactly. Clear from 1080p-ish start with basic scaling. No ray tracing. Xbox Series S cuts more. Starts at low 720p. Uses simple scaling. Images look soft. No hair at all. But it runs smoothly for fun play.

The RE Engine scales smart. It’s new-gen only. No weak old consoles slow it. Blacks are deep and true now. No more gray mush from past games. 3D sound puts monster steps right behind you. It builds real fear and helps you hide. The PS5 Pro makes games look clearer and smoother.

Upscaling keeps things like trees and signboards clear, even when they are far away. Reflections make rain and water look more real and shiny. Light looks natural inside rooms, as if it is bouncing from the walls. Hair moves smoothly during fights or when there is wind. The 120Hz mode focuses on speed, so the game feels very fast and smooth. This is great for horror games where you need to turn quickly and react fast.

Public reactions on (X) Twitter show excitement, debate, and strong personal opinions about Resident Evil 9 and the PlayStation 5 Pro.

One user praised how good RE9 looks, saying ray tracing and 60fps make the graphics even better, showing excitement about visual performance.

Another user argued that the PS5 Pro should naturally look better because it is newer and more expensive, but also stressed that proper technical details like 4K upscaling from 1080p should be clearly explained.

A third user strongly defended their purchase, saying they bought the PS5 Pro on day one despite criticism and now feel validated by its performance. They encouraged others to follow their own judgment rather than public opinion.

Xbox Series X Solid like PS5. Good detail up close. Steady speed in action. Series S: Blurry but playable. No fancy hair saves power. Switch 2  cuts even more for handheld. Opening rain is a show-off. Fog rolls thick. Shadows dance. Leaves stick to the ground. Puddles ripple. It’s like watching a movie. Sound makes you jump footsteps echo true.

The gameplay is really good. The scary moments feel smart and well-planned. The controls are smooth and easy to use. The RE Engine makes everything run nicely without problems. The PS5 Pro is one of the best console choices. It shows how powerful the hardware is. Every version of the game is exciting and fun. If you enjoy horror games, this is a great one to try.
