Ubisoft has released Season 18 of Riders Republic on March 19, 2026. This season starts a new partnership with Authentic Brands Group, which will continue for three seasons. The goal is to bring real-world sports brands into the game and give players more ways to customize their characters.
The first brands added are Quiksilver and DC Shoes. Players can now use new outfits and gear based on these brands. Quiksilver brings surf-style outfits and a special snow-surfing board. DC Shoes adds full outfits and a BMX bike with its branding.
There is also a new small bike called the Pockett Bike X. Players can unlock its “Blue Steel” version by playing through the season.
Ubisoft has also made some gameplay changes. Skateboarding tricks should now feel smoother and easier to control. The season progression has been adjusted so early levels are easier, helping new players move ahead faster.
Some events are also coming during this season. The Rabbid Hunters event will run from April 1 to April 8, where players can find Rabbids and earn rewards. Mass Race events are planned for April 1, April 22, and May 13.
The in-game store has been improved and is now easier to use. Players can also try vehicles before unlocking them, which is a new feature. There will also be a photo contest from April 6 to April 12 on the game’s Discord, where players can win Republic Coins.
The reaction on X (Twitter) is mostly positive, but not completely. Some players are happy and said the game is “amazing,” showing they still enjoy playing it.
Others are excited about the new season and feel that Season 18 looks strong and promising. However, not everyone is focused on this update.
One user talked about another Ubisoft game, Growtopia, and complained about server problems and too many bots. This shows that while many players like the new season, some are also using this moment to ask Ubisoft to fix issues in their other games.
Season 18 is available on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC, including Ubisoft Store, Steam, and Epic Games Store. It is also included with Ubisoft+ subscriptions.
According to Ubisoft Annecy’s Live Producer Alexandre Enklaar, this update is meant to show the culture of action sports and give players more ways to connect with the brands they like.
