On Presidents’ Day 2026 sales Major retailers in the United States, including Amazon, Walmart, and Best Buy, have cut the price of the Apple Watch Series 11 to $299. The discount is available on the 42mm GPS model and reduces the price by $100, which is about 25% off. This is the same lowest price that was last seen during Black Friday 2025, yet users seem not to be very interested in the deal, according to the users discussion on a Reddit thread.

This is the biggest price drop on Apple’s newest smartwatch since it was released in September 2025. Presidents’ Day sales used to focus mostly on home appliances, but in recent years many electronics, including Apple products, have also been discounted during this period.

Reports about the deal note that the Series 11 brought several changes compared to earlier models. It offers longer battery life, faster charging, and health features such as hypertension alerts and better sleep tracking. The watch runs on watchOS 26, which added tools like Sleep Score and new watch faces.

The Series 11 is rated for up to 24 hours of battery life, which is longer than the 18 hours seen in older models. It also has a stronger outer body that Apple says is more scratch-resistant than the Series 10. The watch comes in 42mm and 46mm sizes, though the current discount mainly applies to the smaller version.

According to a shopping guide published on February 14, 2026, highlighted discounts on other products, Along with smartwatch deal which is a part of a wider sale on Apple devices, including AirPods 4 priced at $99, the MacBook Air with the M4 chip starting at $849, and the M5 iPad Pro priced at $899.

People on the r/apple Reddit thread had different opinions and reactions to the announcement.

One person was unhappy that the titanium Apple Watch models almost never get discounts, even though they feel those models are much better than the aluminum ones.

Another user joked that even with a discount, the watch is still expensive for their budget.

One commenter said they have been using a Series 5 for about seven years and now feel they may have spent too much money on it.

Some people were also surprised by the watch sizes, saying that 42mm used to be considered big, and now even larger sizes feel unnecessary, especially for smaller wrists.

One user was more concerned about battery life, he said that he often forget to charge devices and prefer watches that last longer, like their Fitbit.

Retailers often lower prices like this to clear stock before new products arrive. For people planning to buy a smartwatch, the current sale brings the Apple Watch Series 11 close to its lowest price so far.
