HYDERABAD, India (GizTimes) —Skybound Games is releasing a brand-new video game called Invincible VS. It is a superhero fighting game based on the famous comic book and animated TV show. The game comes out on April 30, 2026. On release day, you can buy and play it on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S consoles, and on PC through the Steam store.
This game focuses on team battles. You do not just pick one fighter. Instead, you pick a team of three different characters from the Invincible world. When you are in a fight, you can switch between your three characters at any time. This is called a tag team system. If one character gets hurt, you can tag them out for a fresh one. You can also swap characters fast to do long chains of attacks against the enemy. These are called combos. The game teaches you how to attack fast, but you also must learn how to block and play good defense.
The fights in the game are very rough and brutal. The game has a Mature 17+ rating from the ESRB. It is not for children. You will see a lot of blood, intense violence, and hear strong bad words. When you fight well, your characters earn energy. You use this energy to do massive attacks called Super moves and Ultimate moves. These special attacks look like mini-movies. They cause huge damage to the other team and leave a lot of blood on the fighting stage.
You have many different ways to play the game when it comes out. If you like playing by yourself, there is a big story mode. The story is like watching a movie. A writer who works on the actual “Invincible” TV show wrote the story for this game. If you just want quick fights against the computer, you can pick Arcade mode. If you are new to fighting games, you can spend time in Training mode. Here, you can practice your punches, kicks, and blocks safely without losing.
Playing with other people is a big part of “Invincible VS“. You can play matches online against people all over the world. You can choose easy, fun matches or hard, ranked matches. The game has full cross-platform play. This means if you play on a PC, you can still fight against your friend who plays on a PlayStation 5. Everyone can play together. Also, if you buy the game on Xbox, you get the PC version for free through the Xbox Play Anywhere rule.
A team called Quarter Up is making this game. This is a new game studio owned by Skybound. The bosses of Quarter Up used to work on an older, famous fighting game named “Killer Instinct”. They know how to make good fighting games. They are slowly showing the fans which characters will be in the game. Recently, they shared that the big rock villain named Titan is on the roster.
When you go to the store, you can choose between two versions of the game. The Standard Edition costs $49.99. This gives you the full base game. The Deluxe Edition costs $69.99. It gives you the base game and a Year 1 Character Pass. This pass means when the creators add new fighters later in the year, you get them without paying more money. It also gives you special profile cards to show off online. If you pay for either version before April 30, 2026, you get a special gift. This gift is a “Zero-Suit Mark” outfit for your fighter.
If you want to play on a PC, you need a strong computer. Your computer must run Windows 10 and have 15 gigabytes of empty space. It needs 16 gigabytes of RAM memory. The computer processor must be at least an Intel Core i5-9500 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600. The graphics card needs to be an RTX 2070 or an RX 7800. The game works perfectly with controllers. You can plug in an Xbox controller, or a PlayStation DualShock or DualSense controller using a USB cable.
The game has English voices and text. You can also change the reading text to French, Italian, German, Spanish, or Brazilian Portuguese. Right now, the makers do not know if the game works on the portable Steam Deck system.
