Xbox has released a schedule for the week of March 2, 2026, with new games launching across Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows PC, and Game Pass. The lineup includes major releases like Marathon, Planet of Lana II, and Legacy of Kain: Defiance Remastered, along with a wide mix of action, puzzle, strategy, and indie games. The information is based on Xbox’s official weekly release update, and release dates may change.

Alex the Rabbit launches on March 2. It is a retro-style 2D platformer with 20 levels and four boss fights. Players collect carrots and search for a Golden Carrot at the end of each stage while avoiding traps and enemies.

Legacy of Kain: Defiance Remastered arrives March 3. This updated version of the dark fantasy classic lets players control both Kain and Raziel. The game blends combat, exploration, and environmental puzzles in the gothic world of Nosgoth, with improved visuals for modern platforms.

Scott Pilgrim EX also releases March 3. This side-scrolling brawler supports up to four players in local and online co-op. It features fast combo-based combat and a Badge System that allows players to boost stats and unlock bonuses.

Cryptical Path launches the same day. In this roguelite-builder, players act as the “Architect” of a dungeon, choosing and combining rooms to shape the path before exploring it. The game supports Xbox Play Anywhere.

Ultimate General: Civil War arrives March 3 as well. This tactical strategy game covers the American Civil War from 1861 to 1865. Battles take place across large maps, and units gain experience over time, with soldiers rising through the ranks.

Meowgic Mix is a pixel-art puzzle game where players help a floating cat mix potions. The focus is on simple mechanics and colorful visuals.

Teeny Tiny Town offers a calm city-building puzzle experience. Players merge matching tiles to grow a settlement from small huts into a larger town.

On March 4, Avenue Escape challenges players to solve traffic jams across 50 levels by moving cars in the right order without causing accidents.

Cubic Figures is a minimal puzzle title where players rotate and fit shaped blocks into outlines. There is no timer, making it a relaxed experience.

Discolored 2 continues its first-person mystery story in a world without color. Players solve puzzles to protect the remaining color from a group that wants to erase it.

King Slime in Cashtle is a precision 2D platformer. Players guide the slime king through dangerous castle areas filled with traps while collecting tax coins.

Lantern Push is a puzzle game where a red panda pushes lanterns onto special seals to complete levels.

Messy Up is a physics-based party game. Players act as pets destroying a house, or as the owner trying to stop them. It supports up to three players.

Pixel Into the Galaxy is a simple runner and platformer about an explorer trying to return to Earth.

March 5 is led by Marathon. Developed by Bungie, this extraction shooter is set on Tau Ceti IV. Players take on the role of “Runners,” entering high-risk areas to collect loot and escape. The game focuses on PvP combat, seasonal progression, and gear customization.

Planet of Lana II launches directly into Game Pass on March 5. The sequel follows Lana and Mui through new biomes such as frozen peaks and deep oceans. The story is told without spoken dialogue, relying on visuals and music.

Vampire Therapist is a narrative-driven title that uses real cognitive behavioral therapy ideas. Players guide vampires through emotional struggles using conversation and therapy-based choices.

Beyond Words is a word-crafting roguelite strategy game. Players build strong word combinations to progress through a living puzzle world.

Docked focuses on port management and heavy machinery. Players operate cranes and reach stackers while building and maintaining port infrastructure.

Aery – The King’s Messenger is a relaxing flight-based game. Players control a bird and collect memory shards to uncover stories and help restore a kingdom.

Extra Coin is set inside a virtual world called “The Arcade.” Players explore the digital space and uncover secrets about the system created to help humans escape real-world problems.

Shrink Rooms is a box-pushing puzzle game where the environment collapses as players move. Careful planning is needed to escape before the walls close in.

Slide Viking: Treasure’s Path is a logic-based puzzle game with a Viking theme, where players slide objects to clear a path to treasure.

Veggie Warfare – Feast of Fury is a fast-paced roguelike FPS where players battle waves of mutant vegetables and unlock upgrades as difficulty increases.

On March 6, Mirage 7 tells the story of Nadira and her pet lizard Jiji as they travel across a desert to find a lost princess who can help save Nadira’s sister.

Fortuna Magus is a turn-based RPG featuring strategic battles and a Technical Point system that rewards smart play.

A Winding Path is a hand-drawn adventure where players use an enchanted lyre to help restore rain to a drought-hit world.

Jurassic Differences is a dinosaur-themed spot-the-difference game with both Challenge and Casual modes.

Word Quest Pirates is a pirate-themed word search adventure aimed at casual players.

Nekomimi Days ~365 Days with You~ is a visual novel about an illustrator who takes in a girl with cat ears and follows their relationship over a year.

Order 13 is a psychological horror and simulation title set in a remote fulfillment center, where players process orders and uncover secrets while caring for a cat companion.

Monster Ramp Racing rounds out the week with arcade-style monster truck racing, large ramps, and stunt-focused tracks.

According to Xbox’s official update, many of these games support Smart Delivery, and several offer Xbox Play Anywhere for cross-buy and cross-save between console and PC. Prices range from $4.99 for smaller indie titles to $59.99 for Deluxe editions of major releases. All dates are subject to change by developers and publishers.
