Microsoft wants to make Windows 11 better. They plan big changes next month. These fixes will cut down annoying AI features like Copilot. File Explorer will get faster. It often lags now. The updates fix that. Searching, moving around the screen, and copying big files will work quicker, too. Windows will use less memory. This leaves more room for your apps. Crashes will drop. Drivers and apps will be more stable. Your PC will run smoothly every day.
You get more control over updates. Skip them when setting up your PC. Pause them longer. Restart or shut down without updating. Fewer annoying reminders, too. Taskbar changes are fun. Move it to the bottom, top, left, or right. Pick where you want it. Widgets get better. Control when they show up. Personalize the Discover feed more.
The announcement received largely negative reactions on X (Twitter) , with many users expressing frustration toward Microsoft.
One user said they don’t understand the purpose of Windows 11, feeling it is just Windows 10 with unnecessary changes that don’t add real value.
Another user showed strong disappointment, saying Microsoft’s actions have pushed them from being a loyal supporter to someone who now avoids its products altogether.
Meanwhile, a third user reacted sarcastically, claiming that Microsoft is only “listening” after years of complaints and that the so-called improvements are just fixing problems the company created in the first place. Overall, many users felt that the changes were too little and came far too late.
