Razer has launched Project Motoko, a special headset that lets you talk to AI assistants like ChatGPT and Gemini. The headset has two cameras so the AI can see what you see, and it answers your questions through headphone speakers—there’s no screen.
The device works like smart glasses but without any display. It’s as simple as having a conversation with a friend. You speak naturally and ask whatever’s on your mind. The AI responds through the headphones. The cameras capture everything you see. When you can’t read a street sign or encounter an unfamiliar object, the AI explains it immediately—a knowledgeable companion walks beside you.”
Project Motoko serves two different purposes. First, it’s designed to make everyday life easier—helping you read signs when you’re in a hurry, explaining unfamiliar objects you come across, or answering questions about things you spot around you. Second, Researchers use it to teach robots how humans move and interact with the world. The cameras sit at eye level and give robots a human perspective. Robots watch and learn to mimic our movements and actions naturally.”
The headset runs on a Snapdragon chip that handles the AI processing. It works with popular AI assistants like Google Gemini, Grok, and OpenAI. Multiple microphones pick up your voice clearly from different distances.
